Outside Sales Consultants have a large and thriving market to attack, specifically in New York City (all boroughs) and New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, & Hudson Counties).
THE MUST HAVES: Outside sales and B2B experience...including experience selling to hotels, restaurants, hospitals, property management companies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, large corporate facilties, and any other entity that has a lot of building structures. We are in search of top sales pros with experience selling anything from restoration, linens, water jugs, technology, elevators, pest control, cleaning supplies, or anything else to these target markets.
THE WHY: a subsection of the construction industry that’s all about helping people during incredibly hard times/disasters - floods, fires, mold, emergencies, and accidents.
THE WHERE: the offices are based in New York City (all boroughs) and New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, and Hudson Counties). Only candidates within 20 miles of the listed territory (or willing to relocate) will be considered.

We're seeking an Outside Sales Consultant with a minimum of 5 years in outside B2B sales, ideally selling to commercial clients such as property managers or facilities managers. The role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, exceeding sales targets, and participating in networking events to drive business growth.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Outside of the DNA above, we’re looking for the right candidate with experience in…
5 years in outside B2B sales. This can be industry-agnostic, but must have experience selling to commercial clients.
A ‘Rolodex” of contacts and relationships in the commercial building space, facility managers, and/or property management networks. Being in the know and having that strong network in the space will set you up for success and for the long haul.
Hitting personal sales targets and goals, developing new relationships in the commercial property sector, and building market plans to attack key verticals.
Utilizing CRM software to manage and develop customer relationships.
High commission-based sales environments.
Creative networking - everything from charity golf events to networking groups to hosting company workshops/events to local conferences. The more you put yourself out there as the market expert in the space, the more relationships and connections you’ll make.
Outside sales activities - you will be primarily out in the field, with minimal office presence required, and rely on efforts face-to-face and in-person.
Required Education and Experience
5 years in outside B2B sales.
Outside B2B sales representative experience and a proven track record in sales.
Strong understanding of the commercial insurance policy market.
Experience and/or ability to sell over $1mil + per year.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in the restoration or the construction industry…or in property management sales, facility management sales, commercial property sales, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Luxor CRM, Microsoft Suite
Travel
This position will require up to 100% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
Requirements
Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
SALARY & BENEFITS
