Our client is hiring for a Full Function Project Manager - a unique and vital role that combines estimating expertise with hands-on project management capabilities. This position represents a rare opportunity for someone who excels at both the sales and execution sides of restoration and reconstruction projects.


THE WHO: 

  • Our client is a leader in the restoration and reconstruction space with nearly 400 markets serving residential, institutional, and commercial customers and clients across the United States and Canada. THE WHAT: 

  • You will be responsible for both securing projects through estimates and sales, while also managing the entire project lifecycle. This dual-function role requires someone who can excel at both client relationship building and project execution.


MUST HAVES:

  • Strong project management background

  • Experience in construction estimating

  • Proven track record of closing deals (minimum 50-60% closing ratio)

  • Experience managing subcontractors and trade relationships

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Background in restoration and reconstruction preferred

THE WHERE: 

  • This position is based in Bloomington, Central, Illinois. Only candidates within reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate will be considered.


THE HOW: 

There are three key strategic initiatives that this person will be initially tasked with:

  1. Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of projects through effective estimating and sales processes

  2. Building and managing relationships with key trade partners and subcontractors to ensure quality project delivery

  3. Creating and implementing systems for project efficiency and customer satisfaction metrics

THE NUTS & BOLTS: 

  • Base salary of $60,000-$70,000 plus bonus and incentive opportunities. Additional benefits include medical coverage, car allowance, phone allowance, and more.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Specific responsibilities include:


Sales & Estimating:

  • Respond to new loss assignments within 30 minutes (non-emergency)

  • Develop comprehensive project estimates using industry-standard software

  • Present and explain services, scope, and timelines to property owners

  • Secure contractual work authorizations with a closing ratio of 50% or higher

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions and agreements


Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain project timelines

  • Coordinate and manage trade partners and subcontractors

  • Monitor project progress and quality

  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

  • Manage project budgets and profitability


Required Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years combined experience in construction sales and project management

  • Proven track record of successful project completion

  • Experience with construction estimating software (Xactimate preferred)

  • Strong understanding of construction and restoration processes

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field

  • IICRC certifications

  • Experience in disaster restoration industry

  • Demonstrated success in both sales and project management roles


SALARY & BENEFITS

Base salary of $60,000-$70,000 plus bonus and incentive opportunities.
