THE WHAT: 

  • As an ERC, you'll be one of the first people on-site after a property loss, working directly with property owners, adjusters, project managers, and first responders. 

  • This is a unique blend of high-touch sales and community service - where you'll help transition clients from chaos to calm.

  • Imagine a restaurant kitchen fire that closes the business and 50 employees are now temporarily out of work. Or a broken pipe in a home that displaces a family. These are just a few of the examples of how our client steps in and serve their communities with steadfast service and all-inclusive support to get people back in their homes and businesses.


MUST HAVES:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (restoration or construction industry experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with clients during difficult circumstances

  • Professional presentation skills and appearance

  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships

  • Comfort with technology and CRM systems

THE HOW: 

There are three key strategic initiatives that this person will be initially tasked with:

  1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key community stakeholders, including first responders, insurance adjusters, and property managers

  2. Creating and implementing proactive prospecting strategies to identify and act upon potential opportunities before they arise

  3. Establishing yourself as the trusted first call in emergency situations through educational outreach and community involvement


THE NUTS & BOLTS: 

  • Competitive base salary of $60,000-$70,000, plus quarterly bonus structure. Total expected OTE compensation with commissions is $80,000-100,000+ (with no commission caps).

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) role requires a unique individual who can balance sales acumen with genuine care for people in crisis. 

  • The Emergency Response Coordinator plays a pivotal role in swiftly and calmly addressing property owners' concerns following traumatic events like fires or floods.

  • As an Emergency Response Coordinator, you need to think quickly but in a controlled manner to ensure the property owner that you can take care of their property.

  •  Emergency Response Coordinators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm.

  • As dynamic communicators, Emergency Response Coordinators excel in both one-on-one interactions and group settings, instilling confidence in their ability to manage and resolve emergencies effectively.

  • The role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, exceeding sales targets, and participating in networking events to drive business growth.

  • You will generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events.

  • Amid disasters, adept negotiation with insurers and adjusters is crucial.  Emergency Response Coordinators will liaise on requirements, while leveraging sales strategies to ensure project costs align with cumulative targets, fostering resilience and recovery.

  • You'll cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities, creating and retaining customer loyalty and preference by establishing positive and trusting relationships.

  • Your involvement in restoration-related community awareness events and programs will further reinforce our commitment to customer care.

  • Proactively searching for and acting upon potential opportunities, you'll work closely with owners, adjusters, project managers, first responders, and community leaders to ensure the highest quality care for our customers.

THE DAY TO DAY


Building and Managing Relationships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including property owners, insurance adjusters, and first responders

  • Create and retain customer loyalty through trust-building and exceptional service

  • Network actively within relevant community and industry organizations


Sales and Business Development

  • Proactively identify and act upon potential opportunities

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and metrics

  • Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage pipeline and track activities

  • Present company services professionally and effectively

  • Convert opportunities into signed contracts


Emergency Response

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations

  • Assess damage and scope of work needed

  • Provide immediate solutions and comfort to property owners

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper service delivery


Community Engagement

  • Represent the company at industry events and community functions

  • Conduct educational presentations to relevant groups

  • Maintain high visibility in the community as a trusted resource


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

  • Minimum 2 years of successful outside sales experience

  • Experience in restoration or construction industries strongly preferred

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

SALARY & BENEFITS

Our client provides a comprehensive compensation package including:
